GRAPHIC DESIGN MANAGER / ART DIRECTOR – SLEEP NUMBER, PLYMOUTH, MN – August 2006 to March 2012
■ Lead the effort to redesign the look and feel of Sleep Number's retail brand – integrating ideas and support across all selling channels from print to digital
■ Produce conceptual designs to get clients' messages across with high visual impact
■ Develop graphics for websites, banners ad, mobile, product illustrations and logos
■ Transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, to make complex ideas more accessible and simple
■ Work closely with people in advertising and promotions, public relations, and marketing

Worked for various agencies as an art director/designer. Stepped in as marketing director for Red Canyon Company helping to coordinate and implement various marketing efforts.

Designed in-branch communications for Charter One Banks, working closely with Arnold Worldwide integrating the brand identity into DCN (direct cable network), P.O.P. and collateral print. Other clients include Bank of America, US Bank and National Bank of Canada.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR / SENIOR ART DIRECTOR – BBDO, MINNEAPOLIS, MN – October 1996 to February 2004
Managed three art directors and two copywriters, working on multiple brands under Hormel Foods, TCF Banks, Old Country Buffet and Jennie-O Turkey Store creating promotions, collateral, design, web design, TV and print advertising. Extensive photo art direction, price negotiations and process management.

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR – MUELLER MACK, INC, MINNEAPOLIS, MN – November 1994 to October 1996
Created print advertising, collateral, P.O.P., outdoor and promotions for various Land ‘O Lakes products, Green Giant, Pillsbury, Marigold Foods, Wilson Leather and Target.

My family is my biggest priority and home improvement projects are constant. One of my passions is restoring and showing 60’s/70’s muscle cars as well as auto racing and motocross. I’m a motorcycle/boat /snowmobile enthusiast. Fitness, fishing /camping and model building round out my interests.
